A trip to the fine resort that is Turnberry was the answer to all the hard graft of the summer. Amazing golf, superb hotel facilities and ocean views second to none. Good to see Turnberry back on the Open rota for 2009, an excellent test of golf. The Kintyre course is not to be overlooked either, the Turnberry no. 2 is a very good course with some very good holes, some with a little difference.
The 8th hole Kintyre course - a short hole but by no means easy or plain, the green slopes away from the back and looks to disappear into the ocean beyond - beware!
